Why we built it

Online shopping won on convenience and lost on everything else. A grid of thumbnails has no front door, no neighbors, no music, nothing to discover. Small brands get buried under the biggest marketplaces on Earth, and shoppers never meet the people who actually make things.

We'd been building 3D walk-in websites for clients and kept thinking the same thought: if a single store can be a place, so can the whole mall. And if the mall is a place, it doesn't have to be in one city. It can have a New York store next to a Thai store next to a European store. A global melting pot of independent ecommerce.

Who built it

World VR Mall is built and run in Denver, Colorado by the team behind Eye To Ad Media, which has built search-optimized websites, keyword-domain networks, and 3D walk-in sites since 2012. The founder has managed sales teams for multi-million-dollar plumbing and remodeling companies, runs ecommerce brands of his own, and built this mall the way he wanted to sell in it: honest, friendly, and no pressure.

The first tenants are our own brands and our clients: Eye To Ad Media, Showers4Less, Search Converts, BuyWebURL, Aging Safely Baths, A Nu Do Salon, Gnomad Promotions, Bear Creek Auto Glass, Bighorn Painting, MySalesHelp, and the Link Restaurants network. Real businesses with real products, so the mall opened full instead of empty.

Privacy, in one paragraph

There are no accounts. Your character, your selfie, and your shopping list live in your own browser and never leave your device. We don't run ads. When you buy something, you're on the brand's website, under their policies, not ours.
