# World VR Mall > World VR Mall (https://worldvrmall.com) is a free 3D virtual shopping mall built in Denver, Colorado and open to the world. Independent stores and brands from every continent have walk-in 3D storefronts; every buy button links to the brand's own checkout. It works in any browser on phones, laptops, and VR headsets (WebXR) with no app to install. Around the mall is a park with three roller coasters, a Sky Wheel, a carousel, a lake with a cruise ship, two duck ponds, an old-world market for makers, a train, an airport, a playground, a roller rink, and a volleyball court. Opened 2026. Operated by Eye To Ad Media (https://eyetoad.com), 1001 Bannock St #660, Denver, CO 80204. Phone 1-800-481-8638. ## Key facts - Free to visit with no account: anyone can explore the stores, rides, park and games solo. No ads. - Live social (seeing other people live, hugs, messages, voice, video, the gathering room) is only for signed-in adults 18+ with an allofus.one account. Guests, under-18s and anyone not signed in as an adult never see or hear live people. - Voice is off by default, push-to-talk and proximity only. Voice and video will need a one-time age check (selfie age estimate, ID if the estimate is close; only the result is kept) once it is switched on. - Report, block and mute on everyone; a real person reviews every report. No phone numbers, links, social handles or money asks in anything players see. - Under-13s who enter their age get kids safe mode: no account, no camera, no live people, no forms. - Purchases happen on each brand's own website; World VR Mall never handles payment or customer data. - Visitors' selfie avatars and shopping lists are stored only in their own browser. Signed-in adults may share a selfie face, shown to others only after an automated safety check. - Brands rent a storefront month to month; setup takes about ten minutes by phone; pricing depends on placement (Grand Lobby premium, wing storefront, food court kiosk, Old World Market booth). Call 1-800-481-8638. - Mall layout: Grand Lobby, Americas Wing, Europe Wing, Asia & Islands Wing, Global Food Court, Kids' Discovery Zone, Aquarium Garden, Sky Deck. Character Studio with live 3D preview, Zach characters, ant and spider, new hairdos and outfits, shrink-to-ant mode. - v5.6 (Oct 3 2026): Spider World (Stephany's room): a web-covered dome with dozens of unique, real-looking spiders of nine species (orb weaver, jumping, wolf, tarantula, cellar, peacock jumping, golden silk, flower crab, spiderlings) that walk the floor, webs and dome; tap any for its species card (what it eats, how it helps, where it lives) plus a 5-question quiz and the real orb-weaver photo. The globe hologram is now a portal: spin it and pick allofus.one, the mall, the gallery, Beach Cove, Lake Harmony, the 360 Showroom, Spider World, the zoo, the Wilds or the games. Dock: one-tap ports to allofus.one and the 360 beach. Beach Cove keeps real sand and moving water inside the photo dome. The 360 Showroom is an open-air colonnade with a floating neon crown. Store drones in Showers4Less, Raised In a Barn and Eye To Ad Media answer sizes, prices, brands, shipping from the real product list and hand off to the phone, Locations page and Aging Safely Baths. Every shelf product in every store now has a readable title + price label. Antarctica drawn with the peninsula, Ross and Weddell bays and a pack-ice fringe. Prize hunt: all location hints removed; no clues anywhere. - v5.8 (Oct 4 2026): VR layer for Quest 3 / WebXR (outside + inside the mall): head-relative stick walking with collision, snap turn, robot hands, laser + trigger select, A = nearest action, wrist menu with one-tap Ride the coaster, places, bug report and exit; B logs a bug with position; sharper XR framebuffer. - v6.1 (Oct 4 2026): In-headset toast cards: every message now shows as a floating card inside VR. - v6.2 (Oct 4 2026): VR: crash-proof laser (headset camera, nearby objects only), wrist MENU button, full body visible in the headset with your head hidden, body turns with your head, arms follow the grips, mood intro on entering VR, performance profile (shadows off, far labels culled). Real Poly Haven grass and sand on the island; the six rigged characters are back. - v6.3 (Oct 4 2026): 🔥 Deals board at the entrance plaza and in the atrium: a real product from a real store every nine seconds; tap for details, next deal, or walk to the store. 📸 Photo spot at the showroom plaza saves a picture. Real dirt paths, mirror glass on the showroom and glass buildings. VR: teleport (laser at the ground + right-stick click) and a comfort vignette while moving. - v6.4 (Oct 4 2026): 📒 The Directory (/directory/), the flat side of the mall: every store as a styled card with products, phone, website, Walk in (lands at the door in 3D) and Share; search and wing filters; storefront, usabusinesssearch.com listing and searchBOOST upsells. 3D · Directory · VR rail on every page, ?vr=1 door, ?store=slug deep link. Share (three-prong, incl. Post to allofus.one) on every store, place and product popup. Rocky island cliffs with a real texture. Smoother on desktop (pixel ratio cap 1.5). Pax knows the Directory, Deals board, photo spot, VR controls, searchBOOST, usabusinesssearch.com, storefronts and sharing. - v6.5 (Oct 4 2026): VR layer v2 for Quest 3: floor auto-fix (no more ground-level view), first-person / follow / drone views (X), pinch-to-size with both grips (giant or ant; rides reset to life-size), hi-tech laser with reticle (trigger clicks stores, products and signs; grip pulls you to the spot; stick-click teleports), big floating menu (Y) with every attraction, in-VR popups you tap with the laser (ride modes, product buy buttons), store website buttons leave VR cleanly and open the site, sleek gauntlet hands, lazy zones pre-built behind the intro for stutter-free walking, tighter draw distance while presenting. Poly Haven CC0 skies with HDR image-based lighting and mirror reflections on the glass. - v6.6 (Oct 4 2026): the two floating entrance signs (ENTER THE MALL, GET YOUR BRAND IN) now hover as neon signs with no posts; VR layer v2.1: body hidden in first person, opt-in size mode, un-cullable menu and popups, corrected finger curl, bigger futuristic laser with 120 m reach and miss hints, 👤 My profile in the VR menu. - v6.7 (Oct 5 2026): VR layer v2.2: headset sits at seat height on the Chiller and other rides (you see the ride, not the car floor), smooth turning by default, menu buttons select on a near miss, floor re-checked three times after entering, robot character by default in VR, billboard links (wfp.org) open from VR popups, body hidden in first person. - v6.8 (Oct 5 2026): metals and glass always get an environment (no black vehicles or chrome when the HDR is still loading); on-screen modals (arcade games, store panels, builders) mirror into VR panels whose buttons work with the laser; VR layer v2.3. - v6.9 (Oct 5 2026): VR layer v2.4 — trigger from either hand, no system keyboard in VR, near-miss menu selection, smaller closable notices, smaller signs in VR, Earth-with-arcs arrival. - v7.0 (Oct 5 2026): ride camera fixed on the Chiller, the World Loop Express, gondolas and the Sky Wheel in 3D — seated eye height, higher chase camera never pulled into the car, body hides up close; VR bug reports send instantly with position; preconnects and lazy images on every page. - v7.1 (Oct 6 2026): Orbit, the helper, lives in the mall in 3D and VR — a moon-station companion at your right shoulder (dish eye, glasses, smile, halo rings, comet trail, his own light); tap or laser him for help with stores, store rentals, rides and VR controls. Mode rail vertical at the far left on phones. - v7.2 (Oct 6 2026): headsets get the sharpest text (storefront words crisp, no sign shimmer); VR layer v2.5 — wrist menu by touch, laser-dismissable signs, far signs thin out, steel body, bigger arrival, foveation. - v7.3 (Oct 6 2026): VR movement fixed — the on-screen cinematic intro locked the player in a headset; VR now skips intros and nothing can re-lock you except a ride. Art gallery (One Sky Gallery) on the main More menu, in the welcome popup, in the places list and the Y menu; /mall/?to=gallery deep link; directory has Get your store, Call, Art gallery and 360 showroom buttons. Storefronts: five unique facade styles chosen by store name (chrome columns, awning with chrome ribs, neon outline, brushed pediment, glass canopy), brushed-metal kick plates, brand-tinted brushed-steel trims with clearcoat and real reflections. Shared VR layer v2.5: wrist menu by touch, laser-dismissable signs, far signs thin out, sharpest text on headsets, steel body, bigger arrival, graphics-reset guard, foveation. - v7.4 (Oct 6 2026): Store Scanner (/scan/) — on a Quest 3 the page opens passthrough, reads the headset's room planes and meshes (floor, walls, ceiling, doors, windows, tables, shelves) via WebXR plane and mesh detection, draws the live footprint, and saves it (download, email, Supabase store_scans). The store builder reads a footprint and extrudes the real walls, doorway and fixtures, so a scanned store's mall twin matches the real layout. VR: double-tap the trigger anywhere to open the menu (besides Y and wrist touch), ACES tone mapping and a soft fill light while presenting so steel and glass read right. - Naming (Oct 6 2026): the life-dashboard product linked from the mall is 'allofus LIFEboard' (ailifeboard.com / allofus.one/?v=board). - v7.7 (Oct 6 2026): shared VR layer v2.6 — the laser no longer gets swallowed by labels on interactive things (mailboxes, kiosks, storefront signs), unwired hotspots announce themselves and file a report, 'Body check', 'Replay the arrival', 'Walk direction' (look or left hand) in the menu, fall-through safety that snaps you back to solid ground, view names on X; the way-finding arrows no longer pulse (the flicker that hurt eyes); house SVG icons replace the generic emoji on every flat page and the HUD (the character bot tab is untouched). - v7.8 (Oct 6 2026): shared VR layer v2.7 — menu in your view with a pinned MENU tab, wrist/Y/double-tap still work, arrival dome sweeper (no black areas left behind). - v7.9 (Oct 6 2026): the two entrance signs are one clear sign; shared VR layer v2.8. - v8.0 (Oct 6 2026): three.js served from /vendor/ (no CDN), the top switcher in the house style, every pill-shaped control in the mall UI squared, Orbit companion sizing; the mall now renders in a real browser for QA before each release. - v8.1 (Oct 6 2026): shared VR layer — ground can never be hidden by sign thinning, bigger arrival sparks; loader above the HUD. - v8.2 (Oct 6 2026): top switcher bubbles in the house style (verified by render); the welcome card never blocks the mall (first keypress closes it, and it closes itself after 14 s); shared VR layer v2.9 — headset renders at 105% on Quest 3 (was 85%), crisper sign text, ground can never be thinned away, bigger arrival sparks. - v8.3 (Oct 6 2026): speed — detail LOD cut the lobby from ~4,300 to ~1,200 draw calls and 470k to 130k triangles; images folder 9.8 MB to 3.7 MB (favicon 910 KB to 45 KB, logo 545 KB to 40 KB, share image 1.7 MB to 254 KB). SEO — 24 meta descriptions trimmed under 160 characters, 19 titles shortened to display length, OG + JSON-LD on Scanner and Terms, Scanner H1, /terms/ in the sitemap, broken Directory favicon fixed. Signature heart added to 22 pages. UX — the right rail no longer slides under the help tab, the Prize Hunt banner sits below the switcher. - v8.4 (Oct 6 2026): the help tab IS Pax now — the drone hovers at the right edge with spinning rotors and a small 'Need a hand?' label (no more vertical text tag); the dock sits clear of it on desktop and phone. Graphics: the detail fade eased so storefront trims and signs stay visible on screen (VR trims earlier for frame rate). - v8.4 (Oct 6 2026): graphics — the distance detail trim only kicks in far away on screen (90/170/280 m) so storefront trims, neon and color details stay visible as you walk; VR trims earlier (40/80/150 m) for frame rate. Icons synced with allofus.one. - v8.5 (Oct 6 2026): the arrival rebuilt — brushed beveled steel plate with bolts, round glowing sparks, animated molten pool, billboard flames (rendered and checked on screen); VR smoothness — 95% headset resolution with full foveation, lighter scene walks, one zone per frame during arrival; quicker smooth turn with a dead zone, 45° snap. - v8.6 (Oct 8 2026): THE VR ROUND. Fixed: the VR layer never started on either mall page since v7.1 (a broken line in the page bootstrap: `x.import is not a function`), so headsets were on the bare stick-only fallback. Shared VR layer v3 — the menu is world-locked (it stays where you open it; no more panel dragging with your head and squinting at the edges; "📌 Menu" under Me pins it again) and tabbed: 🧭 Go lists EVERY place (paged), 🌍 Worlds lists every site in the network plus inside/outside the mall, 🧍 Me (view, body check, floor, turn, walk, laser, size), 🛠️ Help (bug, controls, replay, signs, exit). The laser comes out of the index fingertip of the robot hand (toggle under Me); trigger on open ground walks you there. First person: your body stands under your head (lean, step, walk your room and it comes with you; look down and see yourself). Speed: no scene walk per frame (signs are listed every 3 s), button faces cached, raycast every 3rd frame, shadows frozen instead of switched off (no shader recompile freeze entering or leaving VR), works with one controller. Page hops in VR end the session cleanly first and land on a one-tap "back into VR" door (no sweep, no welcome card); the mall is prefetched while you are near the entrance. Graphics: the engine starts at full quality again (glow on, full resolution; the governor only steps down after real frame drops; the mall no longer starts two levels down), pixel ratio cap 2 on desktop. - v9.0 (Oct 9 2026): flat first. The home and mall pages show their content immediately; the 3D engine boots after the page paints (never in flat mode). New Mall feed at /feed/ (the flat mode), a mode rail on every page (Mall feed · Mall 3D · Mall VR · Directory + AllOfUs Feed · 3D · VR, signed-in hand-off), store pages open as product pages with View in 3D, a Home portal to allofus.one outside and inside, service-worker precache, merged storefront geometry, squared buttons and SVG icons everywhere. - v10.0 (Oct 19 2026): THE QUEST 3 ROUND. Shared VR layer xr-v7 (identical to allofus.one's aou-xr.js: controllers taken from three's connected/disconnected events, handedness 'none' and hand tracking handled, the menu opens from X, Y, a 1.5-s squeeze, the wrist watch face, a long pinch, and a floor MENU pad always 1.2 m ahead; ?vrdebug=1 shows an in-headset diagnostics panel and sends its snapshot to the bugs table with B). Mall hooks in the same file: opts.arrival (the mall's own cinematic in js/wvm-arrival.js), the Go tab lists places only (other worlds live on the Worlds tab), long store lists are indexed by letter, every Go destination snaps to clear ground and faces its storefront, a session that ends by itself brings back the 'Tap once · back into VR' door (never a black page), a frame watchdog, and bug reports reach Supabase from the mall through the REST endpoint. The arrival (js/wvm-arrival.js, 24.8 s, any button skips): night sky, sparks assemble the worldvrmall.com mark as light, a pre-dawn line reveals the island, every neon ignites near to far, you glide 18 m to your spot inside a comfort vignette while the real sun rises, a column of light marks the arrival, the mark lifts away, the welcome card. Engine: headset canvases at 1.0x (not 1.75x), far sprites on layer 7 (layer 1 was the left eye only), photos capped at 1024 px on headsets, a canvas-memory budget (0.6x after 320 MB on a Quest), frozen matrices for everything that does not move (self-healing sweep), a WebGL context-loss card that reloads you where you stood, raycasters given a camera (no more sprite console errors), ?vrdebug=1 follows you through doors. Measured in the desktop simulator at the same spots: island 1,315 to ~800 draw calls (424k to 315k triangles), mall lobby 2,437 to ~1,018 draw calls (295k to 178k triangles), resident textures 889 to 240. sw v91.
