What "virtual shopping mall" means here

Plenty of pages use the phrase for a product grid with a 3D-looking banner. World VR Mall is a place: a round building with a Grand Lobby, an Atrium where the hallways split three ways, wings organized by region of the world, a food court and Restaurant Row. You move through it the way you would a real mall, and every storefront you see is something you can walk into.

Real stores, real checkouts

The open storefronts belong to real businesses. When you find something, the buy button takes you to that brand's own website and their own checkout. World VR Mall never takes payment and never sees your card. The stores open today:

Is World VR Mall free?

Yes. Visiting is free and there is nothing to install. Brands pay a monthly rent for a storefront.

Can I buy things inside the virtual mall?

You choose products inside the mall, then the buy button opens the brand's own website to check out. The mall itself never handles payment.

Which devices work?

Any modern browser on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop, and VR headsets with a WebXR browser such as Meta Quest.
